I use a 5' Meteor, rear PTO blower to clear a 1/2 mile drive. It works great! I had been having a problem with reverse. The pedal would get very hard to push, I always made sure the cruise control lever was all the way back. I finally had the time to get under the tractor and see what was up. There is a collar that slides back and forth when you use the cruise control. It was not sliding completely out of the way when cruise was not in use, blocking the reverse. I sprayed the shaft with lubricant and it now works OK. My tractor has 60 hours on it and I wondered if this was normal or something to worry about.
